General Union members participated in the March in March demonstration for immigrant workers held in Tokyo on March 15, standing together with fellow unions, community organizations, and supporters from across Japan. More than 350 people from various labor unions were in attendance, showing broad support for the fight for job security, fair treatment, and equal rights for immigrant workers who are an essential part of Japan’s workplaces and communities.

The atmosphere was both powerful and joyful. Participants marched through the streets with music, dancing, and lively chants, creating a strong sense of solidarity among workers from many different backgrounds.

Events like March in March remind us that building solidarity across borders and industries is essential for protecting workers’ rights. The General Union is proud to stand with immigrant workers and will continue working together for dignity, equality, and justice in the workplace.
