On the morning of 1 January 2025, as in previous years, a rally against the union busting of the Kan’nama Branch was held in front of the Osaka Prefectural Police Headquarters.
The rally was attended by 450 people from trade unions and support groups in Osaka and other parts of the Kansai region.
Two members of the National Diet, Akiko Oishi, and Yuko Ohtsubaki, also gave solidarity speeches alongside various organizations’ representatives.
Under clear skies, a loud battle chant echoed in front of the Osaka Prefectural Police Headquarters.
