Understanding your rights as a worker is essential, especially when illness strikes. This month, the General Union is hosting workshops titled “Health Care, Sick Days, and Paid Leave” to help all members and non-members navigate the systems that protect them.

In this workshop, we will cover the essentials of how sick leave works in Japan, what to expect and what options exist if you face a long-term illness, and how to access support when you need it most. Whether you are new to working in Japan or want to be better prepared, this session provides clear guidance on the protections available to you.

The presentation lasts approximately one hour, and we are offering three sessions so that as many people as possible can join:
