On October 10, the General Union continues our battle at Yamaguchi Gakuen to recover the wages and benefits of our member following her return from maternity leave in 2018.

The fight at Yamaguchi Gakuen has been a long one. Our member’s hours and salary were cut by over 70%, despite her being on an unlimited-term contract. The General Union has already filed two complaints with the Osaka Prefectural Labor Commission in 2023, and we have held multiple leafleting actions at Yamaguchi Gakuen. The next step is to bring the fight to court.
