From October 2024, companies with 51 or more employees already enrolled in Shakai Hoken will be required to enroll additional eligible workers. Previously, this only applied to companies with 101+ such employees.

Are You Eligible?
You may qualify for Shakai Hoken if you meet ALL these conditions:

• Your company has at least 51 employees already enrolled in Shakai Hoken (from October 2024)
• You work 20 or more hours per week
• Your monthly income is ¥88,000 or more
• Your employment is expected to last more than 2 months

Why It Matters
Shakai Hoken provides crucial benefits like health insurance, pension, and injury and sickness allowance (shobyo teate). Don’t miss out on these important protections.
