On April 26, the Kinki Demonstration Committee is organizing a March for Rights and Peace in Osaka. The General Union’s Solidarity Committee is calling on all members to take part.
At a time when xenophobic policies are being pushed forward, it is more important than ever for workers to stand together. Attempts to divide people by nationality or immigration status weaken our collective power and make it easier to lower wages, worsen conditions, and undermine rights.
Solidarity is the foundation of the labor movement. When we stand together across differences, we are stronger and better able to defend our rights and improve our workplaces.
This march is an opportunity to show that unity in action. It is a chance to stand against division and support dignity, rights, and peace for all.
We encourage all members to join us on April 26. Bring your coworkers, friends, and family.
Xenophobia, no. Solidarity, yes. RSVP your attendance here.
