Following the courageous legal action taken by General Union member Fred Ramos, two former Interac employees who are also union members have demanded collective bargaining with Interac, seeking compensation for damages caused by the company’s failure to enroll them in Japan’s social insurance system.
One of these members attended the first court hearing in Fred Ramos’s lawsuit on June 25 and also participated in the press conference afterward, where they shared their own experience working at Interac with members of the media.
For more details, please read the union member’s statement delivered at the press conference.
