The Ministry of Health, Welfare, and Labour has produced a new, multilingual pamphlet available online.
It covers:
- Childcare Leave
- Short and Longer Term Caregiver Leave
- Time-off for Sick/Injured Children
- Limitations on working hours/overtime for parents caring for child under three or elementary school student
- Reduction of scheduled hours for child/nursing care
The leaflet also gives you numbers to call for consultations depending on the prefecture in which you live.
