Demands regarding buildings scheduled for demolition (such as Building 11):

Union Demands
While classrooms are still being used, ensure that air-conditioners are properly maintained, and that teachers be informed of how to contact maintenance staff if there are problems.

Kindai’s Reply
If you contact the teachers’ room, the Department of School Affairs (gakumu-bu), or your faculty offices, they will take necessary measures, such as contacting the Administration Department.

Union Demands
Ensure that teachers’ lockers in Building 11 be transferred or replaced; ensure that the seating capacity in the replacement hikaishitsu is the same as the capacity lost in Building 11; Make a room available for storage for teachers who have been asked to remove materials from their lockers in Building 11 before the summer break.

Kindai’s Reply
We have discussed [these issues] with the Department of School Affairs [and] the Department of Administration [in regards to] the move of the teachers’ room in Building 11, and have arranged to secure a new space on the 5th floor of the ex-main building (旧本館).

While the “Phase 2” construction work is going on, there is only a limited amount of space we can use, making it difficult to secure a room of the same size.

We regret that there may be some inconveniences, but we would like to ask for your cooperation.
