Under Gaba’s contract (section 6) instructors are allowed to cancel lessons “at any time.” As for booked lessons, under section 6.3.3 and 6.3.4 instructors are allowed to cancel them “in the case of special and unavoidable circumstances”. The union believes the bad weather, with some areas suffering substantial flooding, meets this standard. If you have any issues with this please feel free to contact the union.
