Provisions of the ordinance include:
1. Companies must take measures to properly secure furniture so it will not topple in earthquakes.
2. Stockpile food and water, and blankets, along with portable toilets and toilet paper supplies, radios, flashlights, batteries, emergency generators, fuel, helmets and emergency medical supplies .
3. Companies should also create checklists to manage these stockpiles and the expiration dates of items, along with a Crisis Management Manual.
