As more and more instructors settle in Japan, job security has become an issue for foreign workers. The General Union has once again submitted demands for permanent teaching positions at ECC.

Why? Native instructor taught classes make up a considerable portion of all classes taught in the ECC Foreign Language Division. However, no matter how many years of service native instructors remain on one-year contracts.
