AGREEMENT 3 April 1996 Nichibei Eigo Gakuin, hereafter referred to as ‘the company’, and the General Union, hereafter referred to as ‘the union’, have, as a result of the recent Collective Bargaining, reached an agreement, as expressed below, and hereby draw up this document of agreement, committing themselves to execute it in good faith. 1. A pay-rise of 3% will be given to union members with monthly base salaries of 230,000 yen or under. 2. Materials for all group lessons will be provided. 3. Before organising group lessons, the company will listen to teachers’ opinions concerning the contents of the group lessons and text materials. a) Meetings will be held in every school for all teachers every month. b) The company will consult with the teachers’ representative every week.
