1. That ECC obey the constitution of Japan, the Trade Union Law and the Labour Standards Law
2. That ECC make no changes in working conditions without consultation with and consent of the General Union ECC Branch
3. That ECC allocate space in each workplace for the posting of General Union literature and this space be in a highly visible area, accessible to all workers.
As a result of some of our earliest negotiations, on October 19, 1996 ECC agrees to introduce an Annual Leave with Pay system that complies with the Labour Standards Law, creating the current Annual Leave with Pay (ALP) system.
